OAA advocates for ban of 4 hydropower plants (HPPs), planned to be constructed on Shushica, tributary of Vjosa’s river.

On 20th of June 2018 at 12:00 O’clock was announced a public consultation for the HPPs in Shushica river with inhabitants of village Gjorm, where are foreseen to be constructed 2 out of 4 HPPs planned in the valley. OAA was willing to participate in this meeting and was there at the exact time. The representatives of the investors associated by a government’s employed, as soon as they arrived, after having a look around the people waiting for them left immediately without presenting anything . OAA initiated a written declaration of the revolted participants expressing the indignation for violation the procedures for public consultations by the investor, which openly refused to do the meeting.
